The Desert Bloom Festival, a spin-off of our highly successful Art in Kayenta Festival, is our exciting new festival to be held the first weekend in May. The Desert Arboretum Foundation sponsors the festival and the proceeds are used to enhance and expand the garden located in the Coyote Gulch Art Village. With a garden theme as the basis for the show, artists and craftsmen will display functional, whimsical and decorative garden related items in various mediums. Neighboring nurseries will sell plants and share their knowledge of gardening. Local organizations and their personnel will share information on water and energy conservation, xeriscaping, environmental issues, and will answer gardening questions.
